How HGH works
December 5th, 2007Human growth hormone (HGH), which is sometimes also referred to as somatotropin, is comprised of 190 amino acids. It is a protein hormone, and the amino acids which make it up, can also be described as building blocks for protein. Human growth hormone is both created and secreted by the pituary gland. There are two main effects, which both bring benefits to the human body, and contribute to maintaining a health and active body, full of vitality.
one of the results of HGH is the direct effect it places on other cells in the human body. It has an effect by binding to receprtos on the body cells that it targets, and creates the intended action. For example, if we look at fat cells in the body, these are the target of HGH cells, and so have hormone receptors in order for HGH to attach and take effect. Once the HGH has bonded on the fat called, HGH causes the fat cells to break down triglyceride and reduce the abaility it has to absorb and store lipids in the body, by lipids we mean fats, hence fat storage in the body is reduced and prevented.
HGH has other indirect effects on the body. This includes secretion of IGF-1. IGF-1 is an insulin- like growth factor hormone which get secreted from the liver and other tissues in response to growth hormone. This type of action conducts mostly the growth related effects of HGH.
Muscle growth also results from this same effect. The result is stimulation of both the proliferation and differing of the cells found in muscles, it also stimulates the uptake of amino acids and increases protein found in the muscles. This indicate the effect HGH can have on muscles, and a persons skin tine.
There are various things that growth hormone has effects on;
- a persons protein metabolism, causing a bigger uptake of amino acids and the increasing of protein synthesis,
- fat metabolism, the body becomes able to break down fat cells more efficiently which results in weight loss
- carbohydrate metabolism, in which HGH helps to keep a persons blood sugar at a correct level
It is easy to view the many benefits that HGH brings to a persons body, and without it there can be many defects, such as less muscle tone, being overweight, hair loss, poorly conditioned nails, bad skin tone, amongst other things. Research has also led some scientists to believe that HGH also has an effect on a person’s sexual health, bowel and stomach functioning’s, and glandular systems in the body.
It is clear that HGH is an essential aspect of maintaining a healthy and fit body and lifestyle.
Until recently the only solution for those wishing for HGH augmentation was expensive hypodermic injections of HGH. However, in recent year, there has been a vast proliferation of available, suitable and safe products on the market. Pharmaceutical companies and natural supplement companies have developed various methods of HGH stimulation, from powders and sprays to pills and capsules. Be sure to check for any possible side effects, but rest assured the possibilities are endless if you are seeking HGH treatment.
